Permissions
Which permissions Flantic needs and why.
Recommended setup
Security and recovery features rely on broad permissions. Flantic can only reverse a nuke or stop a raid if it can manage the roles, channels and members involved. We recommend granting Administrator, then keeping Flantic's role near the top of the role list.
A role can only act on roles below it. Keep Flantic above any role it needs to manage, or whitelist actions may silently fail.
Minimal permissions
If you'd rather not grant Administrator, start with this set and tighten later once you've validated each feature:
- Manage Server, Manage Roles, Manage Channels
- Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members (timeout)
- Manage Messages, Manage Nicknames, View Audit Log
- Move Members, Mute/Deafen Members (voice moderation)
