Member notifications

Flantic can DM a member when you ban, kick, timeout or warn them, so they know what happened and why. Each action is toggled separately under Security → Mod Actions on the dashboard, and every notification is on by default.

Add --silent (or -s) at the end of any of these commands to skip the DM for that single action (a ghost action), even when notifications are on. Put it after the member. Example: ?ban @user spamming --silent

Appeals

Turn on appeals to give banned, kicked or timed-out members a button in their DM to appeal the decision. Their appeal is posted to a review channel you choose, where a moderator can approve or deny it.

  1. 1Open Security → Mod Actions → Appeals on the dashboard and enable appeals.
  2. 2Pick a review channel where submitted appeals are posted.
  3. 3Choose which actions offer an appeal (ban, kick, timeout).
  4. 4When you take an action, the member's DM includes a Submit an appeal button.
  5. 5Approving unbans the member or clears their timeout automatically; denying keeps the action.

Prime: add ping roles so your mod team is alerted in the review channel the instant a member submits an appeal. Set them under Appeals on the dashboard, or with `?mod pingroles @role` (use `?mod pingroles clear` to remove them).

Only moderators with the matching permission (Ban, Kick or Timeout Members) can approve or deny an appeal. Notifications and appeals are free for every server; pinging roles on new appeals is a Prime feature.
