Activity Arcade
A built-in arcade of real-time multiplayer party games that runs right inside your voice channel. Eight games so far, from quick two-player duels to full-lobby party rounds.
Overview
The Arcade is a Discord Activity: a small app that opens inside a voice channel, so everyone on the call plays together in the same window without leaving Discord or installing anything. Games run on Flantic's servers and stay in sync for every player in real time.
Eight games are live today. Tic Tac Toe, Connect Four and Memory cover the classic head-to-head matches, Punchline, Reaction and Doodle Guess are made for a bigger group, Reflex tests how fast your reactions really are, and Imposter is a hidden-role word game where the table hunts for the faker. Scores are per-session and reset when a table empties, so there is nothing to set up and no leaderboard to manage.
Activities live in a voice channel, so hop into a call first. Anyone in the same voice channel can join a table.
Opening the arcade
- 1Join a voice channel in your server.
- 2Open Discord's Activities launcher (the rocket icon in the voice channel controls) and start Flantic.
- 3On the home screen, open the Arcade to see the game cabinets.
- 4Tap a game to open its lobby, then create a table or join one that is already running.
Everyone in the voice channel sees the same arcade. Use the Invite button in a game's header to pull people into the call with Discord's own picker.
Lobbies & tables
Every game runs on tables. Tapping a cabinet opens a lobby, and a single channel can have many tables going at once, so a busy call can split into several games side by side instead of waiting for one to finish.
- Create a table to start your own game and wait for others to join.
- Join an open table to take a seat in a game that is still filling up.
- Watch a table that is already in progress as a spectator.
Tables stay in sync for everyone, so you can leave and rejoin from the lobby without losing your place. Scores live on the table and reset once everyone leaves.
Tic Tac Toe
2 players. Take a seat, then trade turns marking the 3x3 grid. First to line up three in a row wins. If you are the only one at the table, invite a challenger or wait for someone to sit down; once both seats are taken, anyone else who arrives spectates. Rematches alternate who starts.
Connect Four
2 players. Pick a column to drop your disc into a 7x6 board, and it falls to the lowest open slot. First to line up four in a row, in any direction, wins the round.
Memory
2 to 6 players. On your turn, flip two cards to find a matching pair. A match scores a point and earns you another turn, while a mismatch flips back after everyone has seen it, so watch what each player reveals. Whoever finds the most pairs wins. You can set the board size (12, 16, 20 or 24 cards) before a round, and new players can join between rounds.
Punchline
3 to 8 players. Everyone gets the same prompt and writes their funniest answer. Once all answers are in, they appear anonymously and everyone votes for a favorite (you cannot vote for your own). Votes become points, the reveal shows who wrote what, and Next round deals a fresh prompt. Scores carry across the session.
Reaction
3 to 8 players. Same shape as Punchline, but you answer with a GIF instead of text. Search for the perfect reaction to the prompt, submit it, then vote on everyone's picks once they are all in. The funniest GIF takes the round.
Doodle Guess
2 to 8 players. Each round one player is the drawer and gets a secret word to sketch on a simple pen canvas, while everyone else races to type the answer. Correct guesses score by order (first gets 3, then 2, then 1), and the drawer earns a point for every person who gets it, so a clear drawing pays off.
The word stays hidden for guessers, who only see a masked hint and the letter count until they solve it. The round ends once everyone has guessed the word or given up, and the drawer can reveal it to end the round early.
Reflex
2 to 8 players. Reflex is a reaction-time arena: every round throws a different quick microgame at the table, and your score adds up across the session.
- Green Light: the screen holds red, then flips to green. Tap the instant it turns, but tap too early and it counts as a false start.
- Odd One Out: a grid fills with the same emoji except one. Spot it and tap it as fast as you can.
- Stop at 6: a number climbs from zero. Stop it as close to 6.00 as you can, closest gets the round.
Pick how many rounds to play (3, 5 or 8) before starting. Each round scores by how well you did compared to the table, and once the last round ends the table sees a winner screen with the final standings.
Imposter
3 to 8 players. Everyone is shown the same secret word except the imposter, who either gets a related decoy word or no word at all. Going around the table, each player adds one clue word that shows they know the real word without giving it away, pass after pass.
- Anyone can call an emergency meeting when they think they have spotted the imposter, then the whole table votes on a suspect or skips.
- The most-voted player is ejected, and their role stays hidden, so a wrong vote quietly thins the crew.
- The crew win by ejecting every imposter; the imposters win the moment they equal the crew in number. A caught imposter can still steal the win by guessing the real word.
Set the rules before you start: whether the imposter gets a decoy word or nothing (and whether they are even told they are the imposter), how many imposters the table has, how many meetings each player can call, and whether steal-by-guessing and the skip vote are on.
